About

I’m a UX/UI Designer seeking to identify solutions to the needs, expectations, and desires of people.

Hello, allow me to introduce myself! My name is Geovanna, but I go by Geo. I’m a 29-year-old UX/UI Designer based in Chicago. I speak both English and Spanish natively, and since that wasn’t enough, I also minored in French during undergrad. I’ve always believed a problem is a chance to do your best. So when it came down to choosing a career, I knew UX/UI was my calling. It combined my love for art/design with my background in research and surveying.

During my graduate years, one professor told me I was like a chameleon because I could always adapt to any circle of people and every environment naturally in a successful way. In a world that’s always evolving, I love looking for creative inspiration in nature, people around me, music, art, and my travels around the globe.

After a career in social media analytics and research, when I first discovered UX/UI, I knew it was the perfect fit for me. I combined my graphic design skills with my research background, giving me a career I was passionate about. Furthermore, my favorite part of this career is meeting new people because I firmly believe everyone I meet knows something I do not but need to know, and I am lucky enough to learn from them. This is especially important because I am committed to bringing intuitive, useful, quality products and services to all users alike.
